About this coffee

Coffee cultivation in Cerrado Mineiro began in the 1970s, when producers introduced techniques like liming to correct soil acidity and irrigation to enable large-scale production. The region’s relatively flat terrain makes harvesting more efficient, while its dry climate during the harvest season supports consistent drying and stable quality. Today, Cerrado spans 55 municipalities and 210,000 hectares of coffee, and in 2013 it became the first Brazilian region to receive a Denomination of Origin.

This lot comes from women farmers in the Cerrado Mineiro region and was sourced through the Café Delas Program, which supports women producers by expanding access to resources, training, and market visibility. Every Café Delas coffee is grown 100% by women, and a portion of each sale is reinvested in programs that promote gender equity and strengthen opportunities for women in coffee.
